This all-level yoga program is not only to improve your body flexibility, muscle tone, and gain balance, but also to improve the quality of your life. Yoga is more than a physical exercise routine; it is a complete science of balanced living. It is wholeness. It integrates your body, mind, and soul through mindfulness, physical movement, breathing exercise, meditation, and an overall perspective on the world that emphasizes Love, Generosity, and Compassion.
Yoga was centered in the philosophical lineage of the wisdom of Yoga Sutras of Patanjali to give the physical practice depth and purpose. Through the yoga asana practice we cultivate physical awareness before layering the more subtle aspects of breath, mind, and discernment.
In this yoga program, you will learn the basic yoga poses plus the seven spiritual laws principles, based on Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon’s popular book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga,” to develop a daily yoga practice to help you unite your body, mind, and spirt.
We will spend two sessions on each Law and asana practice.
